Bealight Foundation

Bealight Foundation is a private non-profit independent foundation based in Toronto, Canada. Established in 2000, the foundation makes grants to organizations that foster social entrepreneurship or organizations that are led by outstanding social entrepreneurs. It is the private foundation of Bill Young and was funded largely with money from the stock proceeds of Red Hat. The foundation provides funding for Social Capital Partners. The assets of the foundation are managed and governed by the board of trustees.Bealight Foundation's investment portfolio is valued at over CAD7.05 million, with investments in private equity.
