Timothy Howes

Dr. Timothy Howes serves as the Chief Technology Officer at ClearStory Data. Prior to co-founding Opsware Inc., he was Vice President of Technology for America Online, Inc., where he worked on technology strategy, acquisitions and investments. Before that, he was Chief Technology Officer of Netscape's Server Products division and was Chief Architect of several Netscape server products. Before joining Netscape, Howes was a researcher and National Science Foundation Project Director at the University of Michigan. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science, a B.S.E. in Aerospace Engineering and an M.S.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan.
