Todd Tyler served as Owner, President & Chief Executive Officer at Lanyon. Prior to joining Lanyon, Todd was the Chief Financial Officer, General Counsel and a member of the Board of Directors of a wholly owned subsidiary of CenterPoint Energy (NYSE: CNP) (f/k/a Reliant Energy), a Houston based electricity and energy provider. Previously, Todd practiced law in Dallas / Ft. Worth as a senior tax and transactions attorney representing startups and public and private companies with respect to the tax and corporate aspects of commercial transactions including mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations relating to business transactions for the Bass Family interests. Prior to the private practice of law, Todd was an Attorney Advisor with the U.S. Tax Court in Washington, D.C. for Senior Tax Court Judge William A. Goffe. He holds a B.A. in economics (cum laude) from Macalester College, a J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and has passed all four parts of the certified public accountant exam in the State of Minnesota. In addition to serving on the Lanyon Board, Todd serves on the Board of Directors of Specialized Quality Vending Company, Groupize Solutions, NetDocuments and tripBAM.
