Jorg Uberla

Jorg Uberla is a Venture Advisor, with ten years working in Venture Capital.. He previously worked as one of five General Partners driving the overall strategy of [Wellington Partners](financial-organization/wellington-partners) (EUR 800 Mio under management), from fundraising to investment strategy and investment decisions. Jorg is closely involved in 15 startups (usually board seat, some chairman), of which one had successful IPO, several completed a trade sale and two grew from 0 to over 50 mio EUR in revenue during Joerg´s involvement. Closely tracked about 100 startups backed by Wellington in that time period. Prior experience includes four years as entrepeneur in startup growing from two people in one room, through fundraising and building the organisation all the way to getting revenue traction and ultimately selling the company to a strategic buyer.
