Elliot Wagner

Elliot Wagner serves as Managing Director at The Carlyle Group. He also is an Angel Investor. He is based in New York. From 2000 to 2008, Wagner was based in Carlyle's Washington, D.C. office as a member of the Global Aerospace, Defense and Government Services Group. He played a key role in the execution of Carlyle's investments in Sequa Corp., Wesco Aircraft, Piedmont Hawthorne/Garrett Aviation, Avio SpA and Communications & Power Industries and was also actively involved with the management of the firm's investments in US Investigations Services and United Defense Industries. Prior to joining Carlyle, Wagner was a Financial Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group of Lehman Brothers, where he focused on transactions in the industrial, aerospace, defense and technology sectors. Wagner graduated with distinction from Cornell University, where he received a B.S. in economics and business management. Wagner is a member of the Board of Directors of Wesco Holdings Inc. and Sequa Corp.
