Donal Thomas Smith

Donal Smith is the Co-Founder & serves as Executive Chairman and Board Member at Credit Benchmark. He serves as Operating Partner at Five Arrows Principal Investments and Five Arrows Capital Partners. He founded eCountries.com In 1999 and served as its Chief Executive Officer. He was a Co-Founder and served as Partner at Camwell Management. Prior to co-founding Credit Benchmark, He was CEO of Data Explorers (acquired by Markit in April 2012). Previously he held roles at Thomson Reuters including CEO of Thomson Financial's businesses in Europe and Asia. He has also served as CEO of FT.com and Director of Electronic Publishing for the Financial Times Group. He is currently Chairman of BI-SAM Technologies S.A and Selerity Inc. and a non-executive director of PIRUM Ltd. He holds a BA in the History of Art and English Literature from University College Dublin.
