LCG Associates, based in Atlanta, Georgia with offices in Dallas and Charlotte, was founded in 1973 and is one of the oldest independent, institutional investment consulting firms in the United States. The firm presently has 85 client relationships - corporations, endowments, foundations, family offices, non-profit organizations, healthcare organizations, religious organizations and insurance groups - and advises on approximately $50 billion in assets. Each clients exposure to alternative asset classes is unique - some clients do not have any portion of their portfolio dedicated to alternatives, while others have up to 100% devoted to the space. Currently, the firm has approximately 10% dedicated to hedge funds, and approximately 6% combined to private equity and real estate fund investments
