Dada S.p.A., together with its subsidiaries, provides community and entertainment services through Web and mobile, as well as domain, hosting, and online advertising solutions worldwide. The company operates in two divisions, Dada.net, dedicated to Digital Music, Entertainment and on-line gaming services through web and mobile, and Dada.pro focused on professional services for online presence and advertising. Dada’s offer to the final user is focused on digital products and services including Digital Music, Mobile Applications, Mobile and Social Community services. Play.me (available for US and Italian customers, www.play.me / www.dada.it) is Dada’s Digital Music brand: it offers an "in the cloud" music experience: music always available, stored across the web and mobile, without having to download any software, unlimited access to its catalogue at a very convenient price. Dada also develops mobile music applications and distributes value added services in more than 15 countries. The Dada Group also includes Blogo, the most visited vertical blog network in Italy, Splinder, the popular brand in the blog and social networking sector, Fueps, whose activities are focused on social gaming services, and the Giglio Group who produces and broadcasts two television music channels offered on the Sky platform (Music Box and Live!) which launched the digital terrestrial channel Play.me TV in the third quarter. Since June 2009, following the contribution of its holding in the joint venture Dada Entertainment, Sony Music now holds 13% of Dada.net share capital. With over 470 thousand business clients and more than 1.6 million domains under management Dada.pro is one of the leading European companies in the registration of internet domains and the management of online presence for both individuals and businesses. This division also includes the activities of Register.it, Nominalia, Namesco, the Amen Group and Poundhost. In April 2009 Dada launched Simply (www.simply.com), the online advertising platform of the Group which allows small to medium sized businesses to efficiently plan their advertising campaign utilising marketing tools for the selection of targets and analysis of results and website owners to expand advertising revenue.
