UPMC Enterprises is the Pittsburgh-based corporate venture and commercialization arm of UPMC, investing financial and intellectual capital in health care technology companies. It backs seed through growth-stage opportunities across digital health, clinical software, AI-enabled healthcare, translational sciences, biotechnology, life sciences and pharmaceuticals, primarily in the United States with additional European investment activity. The firm uses a flexible investment model, connects portfolio companies to UPMC resources and clinical expertise, and has acted as a lead or co-lead investor in selected financings.
