Trust Capital

Trust Capital is a money management firm based in Tokyo, Japan. Established in 2000, the firm is an alternative asset management company created under the partnership between Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Group and Everglory Group (Everglory). Prior to this partnership, Trust Capital was named Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Capital Co. (SMTCAP), which was a 100% subsidiary of Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Group, focusing on private equity investment. The firm is a provider of mezzanine capital for domestic private equity transactions in Japan. In addition to management of mezzanine funds, Trust Capital has also established a variety of funds dedicated to venture capital, fund-of-funds, growth capital, infrastructure investing etc. The assets of the firm are managed by the executive management team.
