Pricoa Capital Group (now operating as Pricoa Private Capital, a trading name of PGIM, Inc.) is the international private placement investment division of PGIM, the global investment management business of Prudential Financial, Inc., established in 1985 and headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. The firm specializes in direct private debt and risk capital investments, primarily purchasing senior fixed-rate debt, subordinated debt, and preferred equity through private placement transactions, with a portfolio historically exceeding $79 billion and annual purchasing capacity of up to $12 billion. The firm was among the first financial institutions to introduce private placements and mezzanine financing to European markets, operating from offices in London, Frankfurt, Paris, Milan, Sydney, and other international centers. The firm serves as a major institutional capital provider to investment-grade and sub-investment-grade companies across North America, Western Europe, and select Asia-Pacific markets through customized private debt structures.
