Veritas Capital is a private equity investment firm headquartered in New York. Founded in 1992, Veritas invests in a broad range of companies through buyouts, growth capital investments, and leveraged recapitalizations. Through its investment funds, Veritas manages equity capital committed from leading financial institutions, pension funds, and high net worth individuals. Veritas is currently investing from its fourth fund, Veritas Capital Fund III. Veritas invests primarily in companies specializing in outsourcing services to the government, primarily in the areas of defense, aerospace, government services, media/telecommunications, consumer products, and specialty manufacturing industries. Veritas Capital has been engaged in over 60 transactions totaling approximately 16.0 billion.
