Prebys Ventures is a venture capital impact fund backed by the Prebys Foundation that invests in San Diego, California technology and healthcare companies. It targets early and growth-stage opportunities, including later-stage life sciences and biotechnology financings, with typical investments of $500k-$2M per company. The fund generally does not lead rounds and instead helps syndicate deals with outside venture firms, with returns intended to be reinvested into the San Diego economy.
