New Mexico Public Employees' Retirement Association

New Mexico Public Employees' Retirement Association (NM PERA) is a public pension fund based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Established in 1947, PERA manages 31 retirement plans and two benefit tiers for state, municipal, and county employees. This includes police, firefighters, judges, magistrates, legislators, and volunteer firefighters. The mission of the board of the Public Employees Retirement Association is to preserve, protect, and administer the trust to meet its current and future obligations and provide quality services to association members. The assets of the pension fund are governed by the executive management team.
