Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District Employees' Pension Plan is a single-employer noncontributory defined-benefit public pension fund based in Saint Louis, Missouri. Established in 1967, the plan provides retirement benefits as well as death and disability benefits. This plan is intended to provide a means whereby the District may provide retirement benefits to eligible employees and encourage such employees to establish a regular method of savings, thereby providing a measure of financial security for such employees and their beneficiaries upon retirement or in the event of death or disability. A pension committee consisting of two members of the District's Board of Trustees, two elected employee members, and four members of the District's management staff administers the plan.
