Kummunaler Versorgungsverband Baden-Wurttemberg (KVBW) is a government agency based in Karlsruhe, Germany. Established in 2006, the main task of the KVBW is granting of pensions in accordance with the provisions of civil servants. The purpose of the KVBW is thus to compensate for the burdens of its members (municipalities, counties, etc.) by providing workers. In addition, the KVBW is responsible for the reimbursement of remuneration and remuneration in case of prolonged incapacity for work and, at the request of the members, the granting of aid in the event of birth, illness, care, and death to their employees. The business area of KVBW covers the state of Baden-Wrttemberg.
