Intrepid Capital Partners (ICP) is a privately owned investment partnership formed in early 2002 by Warren V. 'Pete' Musser and Cyrus K. Vandrevala. ICP was established as a holding company to finance private equity investments in several industries. Industries that ICP has prior experience with and continue to explore include Financial Services, Healthcare, Technology, Telecommunications, Insurance, and Infrastructure. Regional focus is currently being placed on North America and India to take advantage of market opportunities and the partners' industry and geographic expertise. The firm generally makes control investments in growing, profitable companies, but opportunistically will consider investments in early-stage businesses, minority investments, and investments in companies near the point of profitability. Intrepid targets companies with revenues of $15-250 million and operating profit of at least 10%. Musser is the founder of Pennsylvania-based Safeguard Scientifics (see profile).
