Health IT Connections is a business acceleration program administered by the New Jersey Innovation Institute (NJII), an NJIT Corporation based in Newark, New Jersey, established in 2014 to support the growth of the health IT sector in the greater New Jersey and New York region. The program serves growth-stage health information technology companies with revenues typically between $250,000 and $6 million, providing intensive training, mentoring, and market access support at no cost or equity requirement to participants. Funded in part through the JPMorgan Chase Small Business Forward initiative, Health IT Connections has supported over 100 companies across more than ten cohorts, facilitating connections to hospital systems, payers, pharmaceutical companies, and technology partners. NJII also operates the New Jersey Health Information Network (NJHIN) on behalf of the New Jersey Department of Health, managing clinical data interoperability infrastructure that serves over 12 million patients statewide.
