Grameen Credit Agricule Microfinance Foundation is an independent non-profit private foundation based in Luxembourg, Luxembourg. Established in 2008, Crdit Agricole, the central organ of the Crdit Agricole Group, and Grameen Trust, founded this agency. The Crdit Agricole Group has given the foundation an endowment of 50 million euros. The foundation engages in a range of activities to carry out their mission of fighting poverty and financial exclusion in developing countries. The firm supports micro-finance and social business programmes that enable the poor, especially women, to escape poverty and build a better life for their families. The foundation operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Justice of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
