Evelyn F. McKnight Brain Research Foundation (MBRF) is an independent non-profit private foundation based in Orlando, Florida. Established in 1999, the foundation seeks to promote research and investigation of the brain in the fundamental mechanisms which underlie the neurology of memory with clinical relevance to the problems of age-related memory loss. The foundation strives to lead in generating interest and support of scientific research in the understanding and alleviation of age-related memory loss and inspire commitment and shared vision in the understanding and alleviation of age-related memory loss, partner with research scientists, institutions and organizations to promote research to understand and alleviate age-related memory loss, promote collaboration and communication among research scientists, institutions and organizations engaged in research in age-related memory loss and nurture scientists dedicated to the exploration and innovative research in the understanding and alleviation of age-related memory loss and recognize and reward achievement in discoveries leading to the understanding and alleviation of age-related memory loss.
