Detroit General Retirement System (GRSD) is a public pension fund located in Detroit, Michigan. Established in 1938, this consists of defined benefit pension plans and defined contribution plans for the non-uniformed employees of the City of Detroit. The pension fund provides retirement, disability, and survivor benefits to the plan members and their beneficiaries. The investment committee is responsible for the development of the General Retirement System of the City of Detroit's investment strategies and goals. A board of trustees administers the retirement system.
