City of Tampa General Employees' Retirement Fund is a public pension fund located in Tampa, Florida. The pension division provides oversight and administration of the general employees (employees other than uniformed fire and police) retirement fund. It also assists constituents with their annual healthcare, social security, tax, and annual enrollment processes. The general employees' retirement fund is administered by a seven-member board of trustees. Three members are elected by the city's active employees, three are appointed by the Mayor and one is the Chief Financial Officer. The board of trustees approves pension benefits and manages the assets in the general employees' retirement fund.
