Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo

Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo (CFGB) is a non-profit foundation based in Buffalo, New York. Established in 1919, the foundation holds charitable funds, large and small, established by individuals, families, nonprofit organizations and businesses to benefit Western New York. The mission of the foundation is to connect people, ideas and resources to improve lives in Western New York. The foundation focuses in the following areas: improve educational achievement for low-income students, increase racial and ethnic equity, enhance and leverage significant natural resources and strengthen the region as a center for architecture, arts & culture.
