Albemarle Corporation Pension Plan

Albemarle Corporation Pension Plan is a single-employer defined benefit corporate pension fund based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Established in 1994, the pension fund provides retirement benefits to the eligible employees of Albemarle. On June 18, 2018, an amendment was ratified to merge the AlphaGary Corporation Union Employees Pension Plan, the Rockwood Lithium, Inc. Retirement Plan for Hourly Employees, and the Rockwood Lithium. Retirement Plan for Salaried Employees into the Albemarle Corporation Pension Plan effective December 31, 2017. The assets of the pension fund are managed by the executive management team. The Northern Trust Company serves as the trustee of the plan.
