Akzo Nobel (CPS) Pension Scheme (CPS) is a defined benefit corporate pension fund based in Redhill, United Kingdom. The plan provides retirement, death, and disability benefits to the eligible members. The trustee board consists of nine Trustee Directors, governs the scheme, and is responsible for its administration, investment strategy, and overall management. There are two sub-committees that report to the trustee board, the investment committee and the administration committee. Four of the Trustee Directors are appointed by the AkzoNobel group and are called employer-nominated Trustee Directors. Another four Trustee Directors are member-nominated, which means they have been appointed by the scheme membership.
