AFL-CIO Staff Retirement Plan is a multi-employer defined benefit union pension plan based in Washington, District of Columbia. Established in 1964, the plan provides pension, death, disability, and termination benefits to substantially all plan members. Members include all employees of the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO) and those affiliated departments, related organizations, affiliates, and state and local central bodies which have elected to participate. The plan is administered by an executive team.
