Advanced Technology & Manufacturing Center

Established in 2001, the Advanced Technology and Manufacturing Center of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth is located in the South Coast Research and Technology Park, near the intersection of Routes 195 and 24 in Fall River, within a 60,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art technology facility. The Center's Technology Venture Center provides infrastructure for early-stage and transition companies, located in Southeastern Massachusetts, as they grow and mature. Participating companies benefit from an environment that includes quality space, complete facilities and support services, technical and business expertise, and proximity to other companies facing similar challenges. Access to UMass Dartmouth faculty and staff, as well as the fully equipped research laboratories, is one of the most beneficial resources. Additionally, business and technical support is available from UMass Dartmouth. The services include strategic and business planning, financial and capital planning as well as market research. The University will also help with legal and intellectual property issues as needed. The Center also has established commercial alliances with accounting, legal, human resources and funding organizations.
