Simon Anderson serves as Chief Executive Officer at Reliam. He was a Board Member of Panasas. He was an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Great Hill Partners. He most recently served as CEO of DreamHost, a web hosting and cloud services company, which played significant roles in the growth of the OpenStack cloud computing platform and the WordPress web content management system. He was also co-founder and Chairman of Inktank, the company behind the widely used Ceph software-defined storage system. Inktank was acquired by Red Hat (NYSE: RHT) for $175 million in April 2014. He has broad experience managing emerging growth technology companies including leading strategy, business development, product, marketing, sales and operations over the last 15 years. Prior to his executive roles, he was a General Partner of venture capital firm Allen & Buckeridge. He began his career as an attorney in Sydney, Australia with Dunhill Madden Butler and Atanaskovic Hartnell. He earned degrees in science and law from Australian National University.
