Pat Coleman

Jeffrey Slocum & Associates, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota and founded in 1986, provides independent investment advice to a client base entirely comprised of institutional investors; predominantly endowments, foundations, corporations, insurance companies and additional tax-exempt/non-profit organizations. Slocum has about 120 total clients. The firm currently advises on approximately $80 billion, with about $6 billion toward fund of hedge funds and $1 billion to direct hedge funds. The firm also advises on private equity and real estate investments. About 25% of Slocum's clients have an allocation to private investments of some sort, whether it is private equity, private real estate, or a combination of the two.
