Paddy Dear

Paddy Dear is a Co-Founder at Polygon Investment Partners. He is also a Co-Founder and serves as Principal at Tetragon Financial Group. Paddy was previously a Managing Director and the Global Head of Hedge Fund Coverage for UBS Warburg Equities. Prior to this, he was co-head of European sales trading, execution, arbitrage sales and flow derivatives. He had been with UBS since 1988, including six years in New York. Paddy was in equity sales at Prudential Bache before joining UBS and started his career as a petroleum engineer with Marathon Oil Co. Paddy holds a BSc degree in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College in London.
