Omar Tawakol

Omar Tawakol is a Co-Founder and Board Member of Voicea, where he serves as the Chief Executive Officer. He is a Co-Founder and Board Member of Blue Kai, where he serves as Chief Executive Officer. Prior to BlueKai, he served as the Chief Advertising Officer of Medio Systems Inc. Prior to Medio, Tawakol served as the Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President of Network Monetization at AudienceScience, Inc. (formerly Revenue Science, Inc. )and was instrumental in establishing its leadership in behavioural targeting. Tawakol served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and General Manager of Behavioral Targeting Marketplace of AudienceScience, Inc. He served as Board Member at PlaceIQ. He served as Senior Vice President of AudienceScience, Inc. He was actively involved with key industry leaders in defining standards for Behavioral Targeting and frequently serves as a speaker and subject matter expert at events such as Ad Tech, Admonsters, The Upstream Group's Sellers Summit and regional events with the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), Online Publishers Association (OPA) and Society of Advertising Professionals (SOAP). Tawakol holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and Industrial Engineering from Stanford University, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from MIT. He also Co-Founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer at CoRelation.
