Oak Strawbridge, is a Partner of The Grosvenor Funds. Mr. Strawbridge joined The Grosvenor Funds in early 2000 and has lead a number of the firm’s investments in telecommunications, software and life sciences. In addition to serving as Grosvenor’s board representative at doublePOSITIVE, he assists and monitors existing portfolio companies including Appfluent, Generic Medical Devices, Inside Higher Ed and Omeros. Mr. Strawbridge also oversees finance, accounting and regulatory compliance activities for the firm.
Mr. Strawbridge joined The Grosvenor Funds after completing his MBA at Georgetown University. While at Georgetown, he worked in the New Product Development Group at Concert Communications and was a regional champion and a national finalist in the 2000 National Venture Capital Investment Competition. Prior to attending Georgetown, Mr. Strawbridge served as a marketing consultant with IGOR Communications where he lead IGOR's technology marketing consultancy. Mr. Strawbridge began his career at Subsystems Technologies, Inc. as a systems analyst developing logistics software for the Federal Aviation Administration.
