Nan?s experience as a founding team member at RoboteX - a Silicon Valley robotics startup, brings him deep insights into technology entrepreneurship. At DCM, his focus is on data-driven businesses, intelligent technology enabled businesses (AI/robotics/future of mobility), network effect businesses, among others. Nan believes that the future is already here ? it?s just not evenly distributed, and great entrepreneurs can see the future and make it happen. Nan is excited to work together with great entrepreneurs to build a better future. Prior to joining DCM Ventures, Nan spent 5 years at RoboteX in Silicon Valley in various roles, including technical (engineering and product management), operational (supply chain and operations), and analytical (sales and finance analytics) roles. He shepherded a series of products from ideas to mass production and finally to the market, and helped establish a strong foundation for the company?s future success. Nan?s operating experience brings him unique insights about the entrepreneurial journey and true empathy with entrepreneurs. Nan is a photographer who also likes collecting antique and classic cameras. He used to develop his own film but found it more and more challenging in this digital age. He is an avid reader of non-fiction books, such as history, economics, and philosophy. Nan once took an entire car apart down to pieces and then put it back together.
