Mark McClain

McClain is a Co-founder of SailPoint Technologies and serves as its Chief Executive Officer and Board Member. He also serves as Operating Advisors at Elsewhere Partners. He is responsible for driving the vision and overall business strategy. McClain founded Waveset Technologies Inc. (acquired by Sun Microsystems) in 2000 and served as its President, where he led Waveset's entry into the identity management space, resulting in clear market leadership and 250% revenue growth year over year for three years. After Waveset was Acquired by Sun Microsystems, he served as Vice President of Marketing for Sun software. McClain has diverse experience in international sales and marketing with Hewlett-Packard, IBM, and Tivoli. He has been a Director of Austin Technology Council since October 2011.
