Mario Branciforti

Mario Branciforti serves as Board Member at import.io. He also serves as Director, Ventures at Samsung NEXT Ventures. He joined in 2014 from Symantec.cloud, where he was Director of Strategy and M&A. Previously Corporate Strategist at NXP Semiconductors, full-cycle from its LBO in 2006 to a successful NASDAQ IPO in 2010. In 2011 he co-founded Angellab, a London-based syndicate of seed investors, building a leading portfolio across enterprise software, fintech, adtech and retail tech, e.g. MOVE Guides, Azimo, Adbrain, Ometria. Mario started his career in 2000 after an MSc in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Pisa, followed by product development and management roles at Motorola, UbiNetics and Sharp. He received an MBA from SDA Bocconi.
