Marc Magna

Marc La Magna is the Founder and serves as Managing Partner at Turnstone Capital. He also serves as Managing Director at Harbor Cap Partners. He currently serves as Senior Vice President for Veritone, a leading AI-based media technology company. Marc founded and serves as the Managing Partner at Turnstone Capital Management LLC, an early stage focused venture investment advisor. He has over twenty years of venture capital, private equity investment, project financing, business development and investment experience focused on new venture creation and development. At Turnstone Capital, he focuses on the firm's investments in IT, media, SaaS and clean technology applications. He represents Turnstone as a board observer for CPV solar system company Morgan Solar, and 3D printing company LUXeXceL Holdings B.V. Marc is also an advisor to InvenTrust, an online innovation professional network, and Harbor Cap Partners, a consumer focused PE firm. Previously, Marc launched and incubated Cedar Lane Asset Management, an hedge fund management company focused on the entertainment sector, led the acquisition of TitanTV Media prior to its sale to Broadcast Interactive, and led the initial funding and launch of dMarc Broadcasting prior to its sale to Google. Prior to forming Turnstone, Marc served as Managing Director of Acquisitions at eColony - an early stage venture capital group formed by Internet Capital Group. Marc began his investment career investment firms J.P. Morgan, NationsBanc Montgomery and The Prudential Investment Corporation, where he focused on LBOs, cross-border private debt placements, and independent power project finance. Marc holds a BA in Economics from Yale University and an MBA from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth, earning the Tuck Scholar distinction.
