Filament operates almost as a multi-family office and provides investment advisory services primarily to high net worth individuals. The firm manages a total of about $900 million and clients range in size from $20 million to $100 million in assets. The firm has about 40% of its assets invested in alternatives including absolute return strategies (hedge funds and managed futures) private capital (private equity debt secondaries) and real assets (real estate commodities energy and infrastructure). Each of these buckets holds between 10-15% of the firm's overall assets. The founding partners of Filament formerly held senior leadership positions�with the�Quellos�Group.
