Kurt Keutzer

Kurt Keutzer is a Co-Founder and serves as Board Member at DeepScale. He also is an Angel Investor. After leaving his position as CTO and Senior Vice-President of Research at Synopsys to become Professor of EECS at University of California, Berkeley, Kurt's. research focused on making Deep Learning computations more efficient. In particular, he works to accelerate the training of DNN models in the cloud, and to create fast, energy-efficient DNN models at the edge. As a researcher, Kurt has published six books and over 200 refereed articles. As an entrepreneur, Kurt has been an investor and advisor to over 25 startups.
