Concept2Company is a seed venture capital fund that helps professors, researchers, staff, undergraduates, or graduate students who wish to start commercial ventures without leaving their present jobs. C2C's compensation is an equity position in these companies. C2C focuses on leading universities and research institutions in the Western U.S. with partners that include Stanford and UCLA. Since 1997, principals at C2C have helped create commercial enterprises that have raised more than $280 million in venture capital.
