Jason Bedasse serves as Partner and is the Co-Founder at Corlex Capital. Jason ("J.B.") Bedasse brings 20 years of investment banking experience from Bay Street, Wall Street and across the Caribbean. He began his career as a financial analyst and then as an associate in M&A for a leading bulge bracket investment bank on Wall Street. He then led an M&A practice for the largest conglomerate in the Caribbean, after which he returned to Toronto, Canada to head up the institutional equity sales and trading platform for one of the leading broker-dealers on Bay Street for several years. Most recently, He returned to the U.S. to become a principal and head of fundraising for a first-time fund private equity boutique focused on the lower middle market. He specializes in raising capital through institutional investors, family offices, and high net worth individuals, both in the U.S. and internationally, as well as leading initial public offerings and secondary placements for micro-cap stocks on Bay Street and Wall Street. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Feed The Homeless Project and is head of their fundraising committee. He leads the organization's street cooking movement, serving the homeless population within the inner city of Atlanta. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in liberal arts and finance from the University of Western Ontario, and an associate degree in Marketing from Fanshawe College.
