Jan Borgstaedt

Jan Burgstdt is a Co-Founder and serves as Managing Partner at Join Capital. He also serves as Board Member at Returbo. He serves as an Advisor at BuyerDeck. Jan studied Law & Business Administration, he graduated in 1999 from University of Mnster and 2000 from EADA in Barcelona. After his studies, he built sekretaria.media, a digital publisher which he sold to Haufe Lexware in 2003. In 2004 Jan built Cologne Publishing, a digital education company. In 2006 Jan was recruited into Bertelsmann's Entrepreneurs program and worked on digital transformation projects for RTL, Arvato and Bertelsmann Education. in 2007 he joined Bertelsmann's Corporate Venture arm BDMI as Principal and from 2009 onwards served as its Head of European Ventures.
