Giora Yaron

Dr. Giora Yaron serves as Chairman & Founding Investor at Equalum. Dr. Yaron is a Founding Investor and also serves as Co-Chairman at Itamar Medical. He also served as Chairman of the Executive Board at Tel Aviv University. He served as the Founder at Comsys Communication & Signal Processing. He co-founded and served as Chairman at Prolify. In addition, Giora serves as Chairman of the BOD for Mercury (NASDAQ: MERQE), as well as the Chairman of the BOD for Yissum (the commercialization company of the Hebrew University) and sits on the Board of Governors and Executive committee of the Hebrew University, Israel. Prior to these undertakings, from 1992-1995, Giora was President of Indigo NV, leading the company to a NASDAQ IPO exceeding $1B in market capitalization. Before Indigo, he served as corporate Vice President of National Semiconductor and General Manager of its Israeli operations with worldwide responsibility for its Embedded CPU business. He holds a Ph.D. in Device Physics from the Hebrew University.
