Garth Monroe joined BioNano Genomics in 2011. He has more than 11 years of experience in finance and operations, serving in management positions at both venture capital and publicly financed companies.
Prior to joining BioNano Genomics, he served as CFO for Epocal, a multi-national, venture-backed medical device company.
There, he played an integral role in the $255 million sale of the company to Alere.
He was a station manager for JetBlue Airways and also a financial analyst for United Technologies.
He served as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps and received a BS in business administration from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business.
