Dr. Eugene Hsu serves as Chief Medical Officer at Vim. He also serves as Board Member and Vice-President of Strategy at Video Medicine. He is a physician innovator who is passionate about applying technology to the challenge of improving human health. He is a board certified anesthesiologist who trained at the Johns Hopkins Hospital where he remains on the faculty as an Adjunct Assistant Professor. Eugene is also board certified in Medical Quality and completed a fellowship in Patient Safety and Quality at the Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety and Quality at Johns Hopkins. He has over a dozen peer-reviewed publications including citation by the New York Times, worked at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation Center, Johnson & Johnson Development Corporation, The Monitor Group and 3V SourceOne Venture Capital. In addition, Eugene has been an integral part of several startup companies in biotechnology, and information technology. He completed his undergraduate studies at Duke University and his graduate training in medicine and business administration at Dartmouth Medical School. Eugene is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Spanish, and proficient in Japanese and has traveled to over 30 countries and 6 continents.
