Chuanzhi Liu

Liu Chuanzhi is the Chairman & Founder at Lenovo. He is also the Founder and serves as Chairman and Executive Director at Legend Holdings. He is also the Founder and serves as Chairman at Lenovo Group. He served as Senior Advisor at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts. Chuanzhi graduated from Xidian University (formerly Xi'an Military Institute of Telecommunications and Engineering), senior engineer. He is a delegate to the 16th and 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and a deputy to the 9th, 10th and 11th National People's Congress. In 1984, with an initial capital of RMB200,000 (less than 25,00 US dollars), funded by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Liu Chuanzhi, together with 10 other staff members of the Institute of Computing Technology, established the New Technology Developer (the predecessor of Lenovo Group).
