Dr. Christer Fhraeus serves as Chief Executive Officer and President at EQL Pharma. Dr. Fhraeus is the Chairman uf Longboat Explorers. He is a Board Member of Reccan Diagnostics. He is the Chairman and Co-Founder of FlatFrog Laboratories. Dr. Fhraeus is the Founder and Board Member of CellaVision. In 2002 he received an honorary Ph.D. in Engineering from Lund University (the largest University in Scandinavia) as the youngest person to achieve this honor in its 350-year history. He is the inventor of more than 45 patent families. He has served as President and CEO for startups and high-tech companies for more than 17 years in IT, Biotech and Pharma. He received his MS degree in Bioengineering from UCSD. He holds a Bachelor with a double major in math and physics from Lund University, Sweden. He was an MD/Ph.D. student at Lund University from 1989 until 1995.
