Charles Peccolo

The University of Tennessee, based in Knoxville and originally founded in 1794 as Blout College, serves as a flagship institution and one of the United States' great public research universities. UT maintains an endowment in excess of $730 million with an undisclosed allocation to alternative investments. The endowment invests to hedge funds, private equity funds as well as multi-manager vehicles. The university does not currently have an internal investment staff dedicated to alternatives, and outsources much of the due diligence and asset allocation to its consultant, Fund Evaluation Group.
