Dr. Carl Borrebaeck is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer & Chairman at PainDrainer. Prof. Carl Borrebaeck is a serial company builder and serves presently as chairman of Immunovia and SenzaGen. He is a Co-Founder & serves as Chief Executive Officer at PainDrainer. Dr. Borrebaeck is the previous Vice-President of Lund University, and serves presently as Director of CREATE Health Cancer Center at Lund University Bioscience. He also serves as a board member at Alligator Bioscience. His main research interests are cancer proteomics for early detection and immuno-oncology. He received the AKZO Nobel Science Award 2009, for his contributions to cancer proteomics and antibody-based therapy, the Research!Sweden Award 2012 for his medical research of value for patients and health organizations, and the Royal Academy of Engineering Sciences Gold Medal 2012 for outstanding contributions to biomedical science.
