Ashton Hudson

Ashton Hudson served as Director at Forestar Group. Ashton Hudson is the Owner and serves as President & General Counsel at Rock Creek Capital. He has been a partner and member of the Rock Creek Investment Committee since 2002. Hudson is responsible for Rock Creek's day-to-day operations as well as for overseeing the negotiation and structuring of all real estate investments. Prior to joining Rock Creek, Hudson practiced law with Parker, Hudson, Rainer & Dobbs LLP, focusing primarily on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, general corporate and securities law. He is also a former owner and manager of Timbervest, LLC. Hudson is a member of the Board of Directors of the Jacksonville Electric Authority, one of the ten largest municipal utilities in the United States. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, Cum Laude, from Wake Forest University and a Juris Doctorate, Magna Cum Laude, from the Wake Forest University School of Law.
