Icelandic General Pension Fund

Icelandic General Pension Fund (IGP) is a public pension fund based in Reykjavik, Iceland. Established in 1974, the fund offers old age pension, disability pension and child support to the eligible members of the plan. The mission of the Fund is to guarantee pension funds, survivors and children pensions. The pension fund intended for all employees and self-employed persons who do not necessarily belong to other pension funds. The assets of the pension fund are managed by the board members.
